These lamps are exactly what I was looking for for our nightstands. The faux leather shades give them a unique, upscale look, and the stone-like bases add a nice touch of texture that works well with a variety of décor styles. One of my favorite features is the shade itself. Because it isn’t see-through, it softens the light and prevents it from being overly bright, making these perfect bedside lamps for reading or winding down in the evening. I also appreciated the small details, like the clear power cord, which blends in much better than a standard black cord, and the felt-lined bottom that protects my end tables from scratches. The only reason I’m giving these four stars instead of five is because one of the lamps arrived missing the switch that attaches to the socket to turn the lamp on. This is a nice lamp. It appears high quality. Its very big. The base is about 10 inches wide at its thickest. The candle in the photo is 8 ounces and the tumbler is 16 ounces. The measurements are correct. I probably would have been happy with something a little bit smaller but Ill get used to it.
