It does not sit that high off the ground so make sure you look at the measurements before purchasing. I am 6’2” and my knees bend up as the seat is lower than a traditional chair. Also, I’ve tried my best to love it as it does look good in the space, but it’s just not a comfortable chair. The back does not have a lot of padding and is very stiff. The armrest are more narrow than my wrist so you can’t put anything on it. I think if this is a chair to put in a small space, and will not be used often, then this is a perfect buy. If you’re looking for a smaller recliner, this is very nice. Superb craftsmanship. The genuine leather is uniform in color without any noticeable imperfections. The manual recliner mechanism (springs etc.) is very difficult to push to get the feet rest up but literature on recliners say it will loosen up with use….Hopefully. It arrived quickly in one box.
