The dogs LOVE this little transformable love seat. It is way harder than I prefer for my sitting or lounging and at 55 I cannot lay across the couch . During the day when we arent home we recline it all the way back for the dogs to be able to stretch out on, they like it because it stays cooler than fluffy fabric. In the evenings we sit the back up and sit and hang out with the neighbors. It is very easy to recline the back, it was very easy to put together, its just not something Id want to use as a main piece of furniture in our home. We were so looking forward to get this chair, but the stitches job is defective on the seat and because is crooked so pulling the stitches off when seated, guess the weight caused the pressure. This is a lovely mid century modern couch. It arrived very well packaged but did have a small scuff on the back of one of the cushions. It was hard to out together with two people. The directions say to put the arm on, then the back but either way was hard. Once they were together it slides together to lock and the feet go on.
