If you’re looking for a smaller recliner, this is very nice. Superb craftsmanship. The genuine leather is uniform in color without any noticeable imperfections. The manual recliner mechanism (springs etc.) is very difficult to push to get the feet rest up but literature on recliners say it will loosen up with use….Hopefully. It arrived quickly in one box. I was a little concerned about the actual size because of a few reviews but I feel that it’s a very good size in all dimensions. My partner already took a 2 hour nap on the sofa about 2 hours later. There was no strong chemical smell as mentioned in other reviews and the feel of the leather is very nice! The chairs are very beautiful and look very elegant. However, they do have some flaws. The sides did come with some leather damage. The legs had some nicks, and the back flap looks unfinished when the back is exposed to view. In my opinion the back could use some extra velcro to lay the flap flat against the chair. That takes away from the quality of this elegant chair, hence why I gave it a 4. This order also had some extraordinary delays in delivery. So, we had to wait more time than expected. Then upon delivery they had the damages I described were found. At the present time I am waiting to hear from the seller to see what can be done. I will post an update. it looks and feels nice and solid, the leather is nice! the legs are actually on small caster wheels which is a nice touch, although its a little odd that it has 5 legs, 3 in the front and only 2 in the back, lol, no big deal though as it feels very sturdy. The delivery team was a little rough with it while taking it off the truck, but otherwise they did a really good job fitting it through my extremely narrow doorway (28.5 inches). and it arrived in good condition. This sofa is very comfortable, but something to note, the arms are really thick in a good way, but as a result this 89 inch couch is not long enough for a 6 foot tall man to lay down across, just slightly short on that. This is my second Bradington Young chair. My purchase doesn't disappoint! It's made with the same quality as my first chair. I believe my first chair is around 15 years old. I'm not getting rid of the first chair yet - there is still a lot of use left in that chair! My new chair is just as comfortable, actually more comfortable since the cushions are getting a little tired on the first chair. Although the color is not quite what I expected, I'll make it work.
