As I get older, it becomes necessary to watch out for chairs having seats too soft, and too low to get out easily. I also need a chair that has a high back because my spine needs support. This chair meets all requirements. The seat is firm, yet still feels good. We (and the dog) sat in it for 30 days and it never softened nor sagged. The back of the chair is also comfortable.
