Mission Handcrafted tiffany stained glass ceiling light lampshade is slight heavy than you expected, as it is made of really 100% stained glass. But when you knock it, it sounds like plastic. That's why? Because of its special manufacturing process. Each glass piece is cut by hand, then polish the edge before wrapping the copper foil. The edges of the glass pieces are wrapped with adhesive copper tape (copper foil). Then putted together in a mould according to the pattern. At last, using soldering material to weld each glass at a very high temperature. The Stained glass is Much Heavy than Plastic, and couldn't been burned, normal knife couldn't cut them. Easy to Check it.

This is a 3-light glass bowl shade semi ceiling light that combines both functionality and aesthetic appeal, making it an excellent choice for various interior settings. I bought two of these lamps, one for the foyer and one for the top of stairs. The glass is nice and thick, though if you use a candelabra bulb the tips of the bulbs push against the glass bowl and you can see it from below. It was an easy installation, but one of the connectors between the canopy and downrod was stuck at an angle (pictured). This won’t work at the foyer location because you can see a heavily angled lamp from the stair. The second lamp has a slight angle but turned out to be adjustable.
