This mug not only has a great shape, it really does keep my coffee and tea nice and hot. I absolutely need two more. It is more fun with a crowd.. Deecee. Danbury Ct. Thu Sep 10 2026

The mug is ok. The color is not quite as vibrant as it appears on the website. Also, I expected it to keep my coffee warm longer than it does. It seems that if you sip your hot drink slowly, it goes cold before you finish. Also, I didn't realize it was a hand wash only. This makes it a chore to hand wash separately. And, I know this is just the nature of the beast with metallic finishes, but this also makes reheating in the microwave a no go. Overall, I am somewhat disappointed.. Sparky. TN. Fri Sep 25 2026

Crafted from the same legendary enameled cast iron as Le Creuset cookware, the 9-in. round signature trivet protects surfaces from heat and condensation. The clever footed design elevates hot dishes, platters, and cookware above counters and tables while also allowing air to circulate underneath. Silicone pads on the feet provide a stable base and help protect surfaces. Note: Do not place this product in an open flame or directly on any heat source. When used as a surface protector, some heat transfer is possible and should be used with caution on vulnerable surfaces such as natural wood, polished or lacquered wood, plastic table coverings, or cork-backed table mats.

Legend has it that this beloved dessert originated in the kitchen of the Tatin sisters, who operated a hotel in the French town of Lamotte-Beuvron. While making a pie for guests, one sister mistakenly placed the prepared apples in the dish first. She decided to lay the pastry crust on top, and turn it out after it finished baking. The result was unusual but delicious, and it became the signature dish of hotel Tatin. Named for this famous French upside-down apple tart, the enameled cast iron tart Tatin is a capable alternative for a variety of recipes like pizza and quiche when used in place of a conventional pie dish.
