[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The rug feels soft and plush to walk on. It has a rubber backing that appears to be good quality. The weight of the carpet gave it a luxurious feel. I also love that it is washable. The only issue I had is the overuse of fabric fasteners. There were at least 15 holding the roll together. When you'd pull it up enough to clip the fastener with scissors it would pull the fibers out.. Nancyh. Wed Aug 12 2026

I have laundered the set and just put it on the bed in our guest bdrm. now that the temps are lower in the evenings. The Mikasa French Countryside flatware set is a quaint design, versatile enough to coordinate with multiple decorating styles. It has a highly polished finish which I plan to hand wash and dry most of the time, although Im sure it would hold up well in the dishwasher. The weight and balance is good, but I find it slightly more cumbersome to use than another set I have. In my pictures I show another older European sized set that is slightly larger, and a vintage set that I consider human sized, along with the Mikasa set in the center. I would prefer to buy American made these are made in Vietnam. Overall, I am happy with my purchase, and Wayfair has competitive prices and fast shipping.. Ritzby. USA. Mon Sep 14 2026
