These Hevea butcher block countertops were just what I wanted for my new office. They were well packaged and arrived without damage. A few coats of matte poly were easy to apply. Nice smooth edges too so no additional sanding needed. They were less than half the cost of what I could get through my local big box DIY store. I will say though that items on top move with the vibration of the washer (maybe not the dryer) so I plan to get some rubber mats to go on top of the shelf to hopefully stop that. I also built this personally and placed it and thankfully I'm a pretty strong lady but if you're not, you will need some help as it's long and awkward because of width/depth and definitely has some weight to it. Looks good and meets my needs. One of the small pieces was warped but still serviceable and in a non conspicuous area so I was able to use it. Im a little disappointed in this. The baskets are super small, they dont even look as small in the picture I took as they do in real life. I really wish the shelf on the side was gone and they just made the laundry part bigger as I cant really see the shelf part being useful to anyone. It was pretty straightforward to assemble.
