It is well made and sturdy, at least as much as one made of wicker can be. I like that it has a hinging top and it works flawlessly. The only thing that I don’t like about the hamper is the cloth liner that comes with it. I’ve only had the hamper for a few weeks but it’s already started tearing, and it doesn’t hold firmly on the top.
