I bought an identical sectional from a competitor several years ago. Although I loved it, the chenille fabric easily snagged and started coming apart at the seams within a couple months. Between the splitting fabric and sinking stuffing after the support straps broke on the bottom, it had to be replaced within just four years. I missed the comfort and style of the original and decided to try purchasing more expensive version that seemed to be better quality. The fabric of this one is considerably more resilient, and there have been no issues during the first eight months of use. The comfort is comparable to my original one. This modular sectional is absolutely stunning! I was incredibly impressed when it arrived, and it looks even better in person than it does in the photos. I initially paid extra for professional assembly, but once I unpacked everything, I realized it was much simpler than expected. It took me about 10 minutes to figure out how everything connected, and after that, assembly was a breeze. In fact, I canceled my assembly appointment because it simply wasn’t worth spending the extra $100. I was able to put the entire sectional together by myself, and I’m a small woman, so I think most people will find the setup very manageable. My only minor complaint is that some of the pillows arrived with a few smudges or marks on them, likely from handling during packaging. It seemed as though whoever packed the item may not have been wearing gloves. Fortunately, the marks were minor and didn’t affect my overall satisfaction with the product. Well... I like it, but not exactly what we thought it would be. Especially when it shows up in 3 boxes. They for sure got it all in the boxes. Everything is vacuumed sealed. Wow! This entire couch was cleverly packed in two boxes! I was so skeptical but here it is! It took my husband about an hour to assemble it. He said it was good quality and not hard to do. He did use his power tools but said it would still be fairly easy with the tool provided (just a lot more elbow grease) the cushions aren’t fully expanded but will be in about 24 hours. Big fan. The left and right side arrived a few days before the middle piece but all very fast. About a week in and the fluffiness is holding up well. Great for the price, better than I expected Notes the back is slanted as seen in the photos. It makes the couch not as deep, but gives decent back support. When you remove the back cushions to sleep on it, its very wide. The couch in general and ottomans arent very heavy, so the ottomans tend to slide easily when moving around.
