I’m very impressed with this cabinet overall. Before buying it, I read most of the reviews and looked closely at the photos, and I’m glad I decided to purchase it. The first thing that stood out to me was the packaging. Everything was packed very well, and all of the cabinet pieces were organized nicely. The directions were clear, which made a big difference during assembly. That said, this is definitely a project that’s easier with two people, especially if you don’t want to spend all day putting it together. My daughter is very careful about following directions, while I tend to skip ahead and end up having to go back and redo things, but we still got it assembled successfully. This cabinet does come with a lot of pieces, but they all fit together well. Once assembled, it feels sturdy and well made, and I think it will last a long time. The quality seems good, and the way the parts fit together gives me confidence in its longevity. My only real complaint is that I wish it were taller, more like my previous cabinet. I’m 6 feet tall, so it’s not a huge issue for me personally, but I would have preferred a little more height. I also had a couple of scratched pieces, which I didn’t like, but it wasn’t enough to outweigh the positives. Shipping was great as well. FedEx delivered it neatly to my doorstep, and I was surprised by how heavy the box was, which also speaks to the solid construction. Overall, I’m happy with this purchase. Husband and wife tag team to put together the armoire. The first one took 2 hours, the second one took 1.5 hours and the third one took 1 hour so in total 4.5 hrs. We had EDM music playing in the background so it kept us motivated throughout the process. The directions were very easy to follow. Great piece of furniture. We are using it as an end table - it goes perfectly with our other furniture and style. I do not have it tethered to the wall, but I don’t have small children and I personally am very careful when I go to open.
