This TV console seems sturdy, has good storage, and is the perfect size. Yes, it is a laminate over particle board, but the finish looks nice. I think it’s a good value for the price. It does take a little while to assemble, but it wasn’t bad. My advice to anyone else is to make sure you put a level on it and use your leg adjusters to get it perfectly level before you put the back on to make sure you build it square. That may be why I saw some reviewers saying they couldn’t get the doors quite right. I will say the handles that came with the unit were not a good color. They were practically orange, not champagne bronze-ish like I thought from the photos on the website. These can definitely take some time to put together, but everything came shipped well and no damage. My husband was able to adjust the doors and handles so they line up. This TV console is a great addition to our space, combining a beautiful soft oak finish with plenty of practical storage. While I definitely recommend having two people for assembly, it is possible for one person to put together it will just take considerably longer. There were a few small rough edges during assembly, but once everything was put together, they were barely noticeable thanks to the soft, natural oak color. I especially love the two open shelving areas, which are perfect for displaying game consoles, décor, or photos, along with the two additional closed cabinets for keeping things tucked away.
