We used two of these corbels to help support a heavy slab of wood for a breakfast bar. They have a nice look—cedar is a fabulous wood—but the texture (the roughness) varied quite a bit on the different parts. But I’m pleased with the purchase for the most part.. Alex. Douglasville, GA. PVC (polyvinyl chloride) is an excellent material for millwork due to its durability, low maintenance, and resistance to moisture, rot, and insects. Unlike wood, PVC won’t warp, crack, or swell when exposed to humidity or extreme weather, making it ideal for both interior and exterior applications. It’s lightweight, easy to cut and install, and can be painted or left in its natural white finish. Additionally, PVC is a cost-effective alternative to wood, offering long-term savings by eliminating the need for frequent repairs or refinishing.

Beautiful! I put them in a doorway in my apartment. I mounted them with Command strips. I did have to put a smear of E6000 glue on the spot where the strips went and let that dry first as the edges that go against the wall are a little porous and the strips wouldn’t stick. They have been up for several days and they look great!. Melissa. NJ. Mon Jun 21 2021

I returned these, but they are nice looking in person (I ended up using metal brackets instead to support my countertop bar). I chose the walnut color ones, and they did not appear to be walnut colored. Also, VERY important to know, in very fine print, it says that they are not returnable - even though on the same page on the website, in large capital letters, that all orders from Wayfair can be returned within 30 days. So beware of the return policy. I complained so I was allowed to return them, but beware.. Theresa. Denver, CO. Mon Nov 24 2025
