I ordered the 16" version of this light for above my dining table. I love the look of it and it was very easy to install. It comes with 3 longer rods and 2 shorter ones so you can create the length you want. I switched from a 3-light fixture that the bulbs faced up, to this one where the bulb faces down. It's plenty bright enough for our dining room. I like that it doesn't light up the whole house, but the light just projects down.
