This mat is fine, but it’s not exactly what I was looking for. It has the extra width which is a priority for me, but I don’t really care for the textured top. That’s on me though as it wasn’t something I could be sure of from the online photos. I also needed it to be thicker like other mats I’ve had, but it falls just a tad short there. On the plus side it has a good solid heft to it and it lays flat. Will probably want to anchor it to the floor with those double-sided sticky corner adhesives because I have to have it aligned with the tile at all times (it’s a Virgo thing) and any mat you buy is going to shift a little. Overall I am very happy with this rug. But be warned that the color is very different than pictured. In daylight, it is more of a graygreen and darker than photos. Purchased for a busy household where we needed a rug that was very low profile due to mobility issues. We are very pleased with the quality of this mat and the edges will lay flat but the corners required double sided carpet tape at least for the first few weeks. I’m not sure how long the corners would have taken to lie flat had we not used the tape but I imagine not too long especially if you placed a flat heavy object on top of each corner for a few days..
