The “rustic” antique black looks nice, but due to the ROUGH texture of the wood I think it will be extremely hard to dust. The dust clothe will catch in the wood. For the cost, I think I should have kept looking. I also believe that photos of the lower section should have been available to view. I do “like” the armoire, but I don’t “love” it. I guess it will do the job. I hung coats & jackets from the clothes rod and beneath the shelf I installed I put my capris. I used the other shelf in the lower section and placed my jeans in there. It’s very roomy. Note, it states there are 3 shelves and there were only 2 actual shelves in the unit. I guess if you placed 2 shelves in the upper section that you would have 3 separate spaces if you count the bottom of the upper area as the 3rd shelf. Hope picture helps if you’re trying to decide.. This cabinet is beautiful. Its bright white exterior is accented with faceted crystal drawer pulls for the doors and 4 drawers. This wardrobe is very nice looking, with tons of storage space. Perfect for my 1940’s house with tiny closets! I assembled the whole thing by myself and it took about 8 hours total. It coms in 4 sections, so it’s very easy to spread the assembly out over a couple of days. The sections without drawers took about 1.5 hr each, and the sections without drawers were 2.5 hrs each. Really not bad at all considering the size of this thing. This is not heirloom furniture by any means, but it’s sturdy enough for what I need. Both the directions and holes predrilled were fairly easy to assemble. Due to the size it came in 3 sections but once the first was assembled it went much faster. We are pleased with armoire as far as the way it looks but the lack of the 5th star in the rating was simply due to the material in the outer pieces. They are quite flimsy but are supported by enough screws that the final product seems sturdy enough. It was a fair price for the quality of materials and looks nice when done.. Na. Lebanon, TN.
