(UPDATE) I finally got my vanity area done. In general, I love the mirror, BUT, I would have preferred to have it mounted to the wall. The instructions seem to indicate that there should have been a bar on the back of the mirror for the J hooks to attach to, but the back of my mirror was perfectly smooth, so there was nothing for the J hooks to hold. In other words, if you plan on hanging this mirror, when you receive it, open it immediately and verify the hanging hardware is included. Also, keep in mind this mirror is very heavy, so definitely make sure it has excellent support (attached to wall stud). Works for me, but cautiously recommended to someone who wants it wall mounted. This is the first item I got from Wayfair that I had a problem with. however, the woman in customer service was very helpful and is sending out a replacement, and then I’ll use the packaging from that to return the one that arrived damaged. kind of a pain that I have to return the messed up one, but I get it. maybe they have to put in a claim with FedEx or some thing and need that for documentation.
