After some research on ideal table thickness, we settled on this 25mm ping pong table. It was worth the extra money for the thicker table. Plays really well. I was also really impressed with the way in which the table was packaged. MDF reinforced cardboard and bumpers for the corners. It arrived in perfect condition. It also took less than 30 minutes to put together. Just needed to attach the wheeled legs with a couple of bolts. You need two people to put it together and especially for flipping each half over after the wheels are installed. The metal surround is a nice touch too because the scoring mechanism is magnetic, so can be moved out of the way during play. I bought this 3' x 5' rug pad to try to get my area rug to stop inching it's way across my hall carpet. I received it in the time specified and it was as described on the web site. When I opened it there was no odor coming from the pad. I didn't have to cut it which was nice. After vacuuming both carpets I placed the pad between the carpet and the area rug. I had to look up how to put the pad - felt side down toward the carpet and rubber side against the area rug. A quick set-up sheet would have saved me some time and effort. The pad has added some cushion which makes it nicer to walk on. As for the traveling area rug, it has slowed down and only moves a centimeter or so a day.
