I'm going to go ahead and review even though we are not to the point in our new home build where we are ready to install the mailbox. We did unpack to make sure we have all the parts. We might be missing a "plate" to attach the actual box to the post. One set of instructions said we should have it and the other instruction didn't show it...weird. The holes, however, do match up with the box and post so I'm hoping with this style maybe the missing plate is nothing we need. Each piece seems very sturdy, and it is such an elegant look to it. I can't wait to install. It was pretty pricey, and that was what took me so long to finally purchase. UPDATE: after 3 years, I still love it, BUT a truck clipped it less than a year installed and broke the decorative scroll part off. Unfortunately it’s not made of material that can be welded back on so we had someone make a similar scroll with iron. AND after a couple years the paint completely bubbled and peeled off! See pics for reference. The numbers didn’t last through the first year— All but 1 fell off during the winter and then that summer became discolored. They are currently stuck on with gorilla tape.. This Titan Post Mounted Mailbox by Special Lite Products has a mail notification flag to notify if there is a mail-in. You can easily mount it onto a mailbox post.

Great, sturdy mailbox. Looks fantastic. We now have by far the nicest mailbox on the street. It is pretty heavy (about 25lbs I believe) so make sure your post can handle it. Not a fan of the wood block for mounting. It will eventually rot. Would have liked to see a pvc product or similar. At some point this summer I’ll have to replace it so that I never have to worry about it in the future. Overall very happy. (Pictured with Eggers 5ft H in-ground decorative post). Andrew. Built like a tank but dressed to impress, the Ironside post mounted mailbox is your go-to for strength, space, and serious staying power. This heavy duty mailbox is made from thick-gauge, galvanized steel that’s impact-resistant and tough enough to handle whatever the day (or delivery driver) throws at it. It’s a metal mailbox that doesn’t flinch. Finished with a smooth, powder-coated exterior that fights rust and weather, the Ironside shines in more ways than one. The large mailbox interior easily handles high volumes of mail, padded envelopes, and small packages. A magnetic latch keeps the door securely closed, and sturdy piano hinges mean smooth, reliable access every time. Whether you're upgrading residential mailboxes or shopping mailboxes for outside that can take a serious beating, this outdoor mailbox gets it done. USPS approved and ready to mount with multiple installation points. Curbside durability never looked so good.

Exactly as expected. Strong, high quality mailbox that arrived quickly. Installation: Easy to attach to a mounting plate using the holes on the bottom of the exterior sides. It’s petty heavy, so be sure to attach to a strong post - I got the Gibraltar Landover post (which is actually hollow) and slid it over a 4x4 sunk 17” into the ground which is 30” above ground (so the 4x4 is a total of 47”). It looks great and was definitely worth the money to upgrade from the low-quality, dented mailbox that the prior owners had chosen. I got custom decals elsewhere to finish the look.. Marion.
