With help, we drilled a larger drainage hole from the inside and filled it with rock and sand. That still leaves you with half of the pot to hold dirt and plants. They are now so heavy that hopefully they can withstand what Florida can dish out. They have remained as bright as when first placed. Color is lovely, as pictured . Lightweight plastic, which is great for stacking and storing. However, there’s no drainage hole even though they come with a rubber stopper. They also don’t have anything like a built-in stopper, so I had to put bricks in mine to (1) weigh them down and (2) ensure my flowers don’t fall in. Good value for the price given the above.. Katie. This is a great size and sturdy. I like that it had the false bottom so I didn't have to put a lot of soil into it. I put it on the top step by my front door and it looks really nice with the flowers in it. If I had the room, I'd buy another one! These pots are deep and can hold large plants. There’s plenty of space for roots to form inside the pot. The pot has a plug in the bottom that can be removed to allow drainage. It’s plastic but gives the appearance of one of those large ceramic pots. The color of the pot is bright and vibrant. I had lime green and purple sweet potato vine in them and received so many compliments on how pretty the plant and pot was but unfortunately they died before I could get a good picture of them. Honestly, any plant will look good in these pots. Bonus…. It comes with not one but two pots!
