Today I received the metal rooster statue. It’s is very colorful and well made. It comes in two pieces. You have to attach the tail to the back by attaching it in a little slot. I had a little problem with my rooster not standing up properly and had to try to adjust the legs a little to get it o stand up properly. In the process I broke a piece of the foot but I should be able to fix it with super glue. It still is a little wonky but I am afraid if I try to bend it any more I will break it more. I am a huge fan of iron art, and I love the phoenix. Not a normal yard art statue that you would find. Lots of egrets, herons, and peacocks. So when I saw this, I was absolutely thrilled. And when it arrived, even more so as the colors are absolutely brilliant. The pieces were very well packaged with bubblewrap and cardboard to avoid damage in transit. It was very easy to assemble and doesn't appear to easy come apart. They even included a "U" shaped stake to help keep it in place. This is a hand-painted turkey and is very pretty. It isn't huge, but that is a good thing as I love tucking such things in amongst the leaves and branches on my kitchen island. What surprised me happily was that the turkey came QUICKLY, much more quickly than was stated. I expected it to take weeks perhaps, as stated it might, and it was here in four or five days! You will love your NUMBERED edition if you are lucky enough to get one. I have a feeling there were not many left. The colors are, oh, so autumnal! Hey, I got to use that not often used word!!!!
