I really like this run! If you don’t over stretchpull the chicken wire, you can get it nice and taught without waves and sags. I cut the chicken wire in 21 foot lengths, so that there was plenty on the outside bottom for cinder blocks or something to weight everything down. I put the entire thing together by myself. 5’1” woman. So, you can do it too!. Amber. Hampton Bays, NY. Mon Aug 17 2026

Update after 2 weeks it is already warped and falling apart in areas. I’m beyond disappointed. I bought two with the two tunnels to connect. . Theres were for three outside cats I feed at work. They are already warped and pieces broke easily. My son put up a frame around doors because the opening was large enough for the cats to possibly break through. He also took the ladders out because they broke and had stapes out to hurt the cats he put hammocks in instead. I wish I got a more expensive one instead of two of these. Okay! SO- first time chicken owner here. We live in Maryland and are raising chicks and ducks from babies. We live in the woods and therefore have a ton of natural predators. The coop on its own is not SUPER sturdy, but not the worst quality I have seen and works well for a yard that slopes. There are some gaps, so we enclosed the top and bottom with hardware mesh stapled into the wood and secured with cement blocks just to be sure everything would be safe, and so far so good! The cover seems like it will be reasonable for the raincolder temps. Used Wayfair assembly service, which was good but it did take 3 men four hours to assemble just FYI. Overall, happy!. Anonymous. That's why we are proud to introduce our line of metal chicken coops, designed with both you and your chickens in mind. The plastic-coated hexagonal mesh provides optimal ventilation and keeps even the most determined predators out. Our coops also feature lockable doors, so you can rest easy knowing that your chickens are safe and secure at all times.

Instructions were very easy to follow. I love this idea and it fits perfectly for where we needed it. I question the durability though. I also am not a fan of the fencing used. It tears easily as it’s not hardware cloth. Any predator could easily get through this. We do plan to reinforce it soon, as winter approaches. If we didn’t have a fully fenced in yard, I would immediately reinforce the fencing. We have 12 chickens right now and they have plenty of space.. Ashley. NY. Tue Sep 01 2026
