I was pretty hesitant to purchase this because I saw the comments about others’ concerns of “shower curtain material.” The material is like that, AND it had fold creases in it. However, I decided to give it a try anyway. Assembly took 15 minutes. You start by inserting metal corner pieces into the extruded aluminum frame sides. Attach the cross-brace. Then insert the canvas edge into a slot that runs along the inner edge of the frame. That’s it. Difficulty level 5 out of 10. Once hung, it looked pretty good. If this will be seen close-up, you can tell it’s a printed and stretched material. All the creases are gone. I’ll admit, I was a bit skeptical when this arrived unassembled and the artwork itself was folded and needed to be inserted into the frame. After reading some mixed reviews, I wasn’t sure what to expect. That said, assembly only took a few minutes and was very straightforward. Sliding the acrylic ends of the canvas into the frame was surprisingly easy, and any initial creases completely disappeared once the canvas was stretched into place. You truly can’t see them at all in the finished piece. The final result looks great and far exceeded my expectations—clean, polished, and much more high-end than I anticipated.
