Great, sturdy mailbox. Looks fantastic. We now have by far the nicest mailbox on the street. It is pretty heavy (about 25lbs I believe) so make sure your post can handle it. Not a fan of the wood block for mounting. It will eventually rot. Would have liked to see a pvc product or similar. At some point this summer I’ll have to replace it so that I never have to worry about it in the future. Overall very happy. (Pictured with Eggers 5ft H in-ground decorative post). Andrew. This mailbox is built to last a lifetime with our solid brass construction. Easy to mount, a bumper inside the lid for quiet closing, and a lifetime warranty. Our mailboxes are handcrafted and made in America, here in Orange, CA. It takes 2-3 weeks for our mailboxes to be manufactured as they are built to order and customized for you. You can customize your mailbox with multiple finishes and art glass options. The glass panels are hand-paddled and as unique as a thumbprint. Our old penny finish is recommended for coastal locations as it will naturally age throughout time. The architectural bronze finish is oil-rubbed and creates a beautifully smooth rich look. Textured black is a powder coat finish with a slight texture. New Verde is our hand-applied patina finish that simulates naturally aged copper, and warm brass is also a hand-applied patina finish simulating naturally aged brass. Our mailboxes can also be combined with our coordinating light fixtures.

This handsome USA-crafted mailbox will be the perfect complement to my hot-off-the-press DIY timber frame post. The architectural bronze is flawless and has attractive burnished highlights along the edges. I’m looking forward to installing it atop the post come spring. We’ll see how effective the magnetic latch is. If necessary I will bolster it with a stronger rare earth magnet.. Vt Kiter. Jericho, VT. Sat Jan 11 2025
