Mostly this is a great piece of furniture. The drawback are the manufacturers assembly instruction for the recliner are not properly detailed. Pictures are vague and incorrect, instructions are insufficient. One difficulty I have found involves the arms, they are not attached. To attach them you have two double ended bolts for each arm. Screw the bolts into the arm put the arm into the slots on the chair. Then, somehow, you need hands and arms thin enough and long enough to secure the arms with plastic knobs. My arms do not fit, I am not super buff and I am 6' tall so my hands can reach but space is limited. The position makes it very difficult to see the end of the bolt and secure the arm. I have given up trying for now. Hire the assembly option. Unless there is a unwritten trick to this, I am having trouble seeing how it is done without strain and annoyance.. Keith. Milwaukee, WI. Big on comfort, big on style. That’s the word on the Randell rocking recliner by La-Z-Boy. Designed especially for taller users, this casual family favorite features deep cushions, an extra-tall back, and generous proportions that invite you to kick back and relax. What’s more, Randell comes standard with many of La-Z-Boy's “tall” enhancements, including a tall base, elongated handle, deep chaise seat, higher-density foam, and a newly updated design that features an extra-long leg rest. Simply use the convenient handle on the outside arm to raise the leg rest for reading, relaxing, or watching TV. When you’re not reclining, it’s a relaxing rocker with a smooth, graceful motion. Very large and cushioned chair.. Kristin. Rollingstone, MN. Thu Sep 17 2026

This power lift recliner brings motion functionality and lounge-level comfort to any home. It's designed with a remote-controlled system and a silent lift motor to assist with standing up, while the reclining mechanism adjusts between 90° and 150° for relaxed seating. Padded arms and a stuffed back deliver support, and the soft fabric upholstery blends easily into your space. Built-in side pockets and dual cup holders provide practical storage to keep remotes and drinks within easy reach. The frame relies on engineered wood. It also includes a USB port to charge your devices.

This chair is pretty comfortable and roomy. It is pretty easy to assemble but connecting all the wires were a little confusing. The instructions do not mention hidden wires and I had to reach out to customer support which was very helpful. A suggestion is to depict the hidden wires with photos and explanation in the instructions. The recline and lift functions are pretty slow - not sure if that is by design. The heat feature is nice, but doesn't really hit my lower back even when reclined all the way. The massage feature is ok - it's more like vibrations than massage, but still feels nice. The cup holders, USB port and pockets are nice extras.. Kelly. Peoria, IL. Fri Jul 31 2026
