The bottle is very beautiful, but it is extremely heavy. I appreciate that the glass is thick overall however, the middle section of the bottle is much thinner than the rest and noticeably thinner than similar products. When I filled it with water, the thin middle area broke very easily. It felt too thin and unsafe, and I even injured my hand when it shattered. This is a serious safety concern, especially for a glass container meant to hold water. The design is lovely, but the glass thickness in the middle needs to be improved and reinforced for safety..
