Where are all my poultry people at If you are anything like me youve got a house full of kids and a backyard full of chickens and ducks. The problem is is that we also have dogs. One dog doesnt care about the chickens but lets just say the other one does. Enter this kennel. It is super sturdy and very heavy duty. We arent using it to put the dogs in but in fact to keep them out. We go the 79.2" H x 117.6" W x 236.4" coop and it is great for a large flock. We have 70 chickens in these photos. We are using it as a chicken tractor, it is easy to move around the field with 2 people. The construction was simple and the directions were helpful. The chicken wire is secured to the cage by twist ties, which isn't the best method, especially if you are worried about predators. The chicken wire is a thinner metal so if predators are a big concern, you may want to take that into consideration. The directions are awful, there's a youtube video that shows a guy setting up a similar gate, his is French door style but the set up is very similar so it was helpful because we were totally lost trying to figure it out. Anyway its perfect for our needs. We needed to keeo 3 if our cats separate from one cat. They can slip through sometimes by messing with the side pole to move it over just enough to slip through but still this is a good enough solution for us.
