It is definitely darker than the photos show, more of a very dark gray. I assume it will fade some to a lighter gray, similar to what is show. FYI - you will need to pre-purchase a 4x10, to cut in half. These will be used to place in holes dug roughly 36 inches deep and set in concrete. Hopefully that saves someone else a trip. Im so excited to put this together and set up the garden. The packaging came in easy to move pieces. I’ll update the review with photos once it’s all set up. Update this was a lot of work to put together but definitely worth it.
