These bookshelves look amazing in my craftroom. We purchased 3 of them, each one took my husband approximately 3 hours to put together. He then used his own hardware to secure them together to make it look like one large unit. The doors all open well, the shelving seems sturdy enough for my supplies. I only purchased these because of the huge discount, you get what you pay for. If you are looking for “built in craftsmanship,” this option is not for you. We knew we would be downsizing in a few years and did not want to invest a huge amount of money for built ins. Having said that, these units are the showcase of my craftroom! Lighting strips are stuck all around inside, which are not the best at sticking, so we added a little glue. Remote controls turning on lights, which color, and making the lights flash. It attaches and ends up being one large piece, so take this into consideration when putting it together, if you plan on taking it somewhere else Hard to handle, would be cool if two sections attached, then you could also use as a two piece display. On the surface, this china cabinet is beautiful. The color is exactly what I was hoping for, and once it’s fully put together, it has a really nice look. The quality is not top tier, but it’s not bad either for the price point. That said, my biggest issue has been the assembly and the lack of support from the manufacturer. Assembly was a bear. It took me about six hours to complete, and there are what feels like 70 screws and nails just for the back panel alone. It’s definitely not a quick or easy project. The biggest problem came at the final step when assembling the pullout drawers. The nails did not align with the pre-drilled holes in the drawers, which made it impossible to complete properly. I reached out to the manufacturer for replacements, and it has now been over 30 days without a resolution. Because of that, I cannot fully complete the cabinet or give a final assessment yet. I also had some difficulty getting the cabinet doors to line up correctly, which added to the frustration. But it was a matter of adjusting the hinge screws (had to Google that to figure out the problem) Overall, the piece has great potential and looks nice, but the assembly process and lack of manufacturer support have been disappointing. I will gladly update this review once I receive the replacement parts and can finish putting everything together. UPDATE all parts have been received and assembled and it looks great.. Kamilah.
