This planter was very easy to assemble. I like that I can adjust the shelves inside. The shelf also has holes in it for drainage. I didnt think about it until after my purchase, but Im a little concerned about plants overheating since this is a metal planter. Im not even sure this should be a real concern. I highly recommend.. I am OBSESSED with these! I've loved window boxes since living in Germany in the 1990s but always had a hard time finding ones to fit my deck railings. I've done the wire holder with plastic box and they just looked blah. These look amazing! I can't wait until the grass grows tall and petunias and sweet potato vines spill over. I ended up also buying the supporting deck railing brackets because I worried about the composite balusters not being able to support such a heavy box when weighted with wet soil.. Maria. MA.
