Husband and wife tag team to put together the armoire. The first one took 2 hours, the second one took 1.5 hours and the third one took 1 hour so in total 4.5 hrs. We had EDM music playing in the background so it kept us motivated throughout the process. The directions were very easy to follow. They arrived undamaged. The instructions were basic, but enough if you pay attention to the diagrams. The doors needed to be adjusted to keep them closed (needed to close the gap between them; it wasn't hard). I did find one area that could use improvement. If you lose power, the lights don't automatically come back on. You have to press the button that is in line with the power. It is designed to have that button unit outside the shelf, but if you stuff these against a wall and outlet, you'd have a tough time turning them back on- especially when you have three of these shelves against each other to make the 95" build. I ended up drilling an additional hole and routing the other end of the USB cable through it, buying a flat/low-profile USB block with multiple ports so I could have the button in the lowest shelf, upper left-hand corner. The chest looks nice. The quality is good. However, the drawers only pull out about half way. Very weird. I thought about returning it but I can make it work. Wish there was an optional clamp or 2 hole plate that came with it so I can screw them together so I can stack them. Also, the drawers come right out but I guess that’s expected with this type of style. Nice though! Looks great in my office. Also I could probably buy a couple of brackets for cheap and screw them together, still worthy of a 5 star review but just dinging it a little because stacking brackets should be included for the price. This is expensive but totally worth it!!! I bought it to hold both of my sons toiletries and our extra toiletry supplies, because we have zero storage in our house. This is one heavy dresser! It’s very solid and sturdy for sure. It does have a lot of pieces and is very time consuming to put together but the instructions were very clear and straight forward. I put it together by myself and it took me a few hours. But definitely worth it for the quality. The fact that it comes with (2) is even better.
