I was very hesitant to purchase this. For me, this is an expensive item. But I have to say right up front - it was worth it! First things first, you may need the jaws of life to open the packaging. It was that well packed. I’ve literally never seen flat packed furniture so well packed in my life. So there shouldn’t be any worry about it arriving damaged. Second, they said “solid wood” and they meant it. There’s not one piece of mdf in this thing. Literally the only thing I could complain about is the choice of pulls. I don’t like them. But that’s just my taste. There is nothing wrong with them. And they are so easy to replace. At the end of the day, would I buy this again? Yes. Without hesitation. It was easy to assemble with 2 people. You almost need 2 people once is starts to be mostly together. That pressed wood can be heavy. It has that cheap backing but it all fit together well. We were able to adjust the doors so they closed nicely and then to get the seam between the doors to be small and straight. It took almost 2 hours. Both the directions and holes predrilled were fairly easy to assemble. Due to the size it came in 3 sections but once the first was assembled it went much faster. We are pleased with armoire as far as the way it looks but the lack of the 5th star in the rating was simply due to the material in the outer pieces. This wardrobe came in 2 boxes and was well packed. Each box weighs about 50 lbs, so youll want two people to carry it inside your home. My husband and I were able to put it together in 5 hours. It has a nice mix of hanging storage and cubicle storage for folded clothes. I really like the exterior look of the unit. It is a nice feel of mid century modern. Its a large piece and is going to go in my guest room. It will be perfect for my bed linen storage while having room for my guests to unpack their belongings. Beautiful once set up. But as others have mentioned - INCREDIBLY difficult to assemble. Instructions are not in English and nothing is labeled well. It's very difficult to differentiate which piece is which. In addition, the materials are very thin and flimsy (expected for price). However, a sturdy real wood product that looks as clean and sleek as this would cost 10x the price.
