I love this shelf. We moved into a new house that does not have a lot of areas to display things. I had an area that had an odd space just crying for a shelf or bookcase. I selected this one to add warmth and creativity. I had someone put the shelf together for me. He said it wasn't hard but it did take him about an hour. It is gorgeous. A modern look and feel has never been easier to thanks to this Black Finish Metal Spiral Staircase Display Shelf. This item is constructed of metal and wood for a sleek and industrial look designed especially for those who love to make a fresh statement.

I absolutely loooooove this shelf! I was drawn to it because the spiral staircase design is so different from a typical display shelf, and I’m even happier with it now that it’s assembled and in my space. It has a really unique look and adds interest to the room without feeling bulky or taking up too much floor space. The quality impressed me too. It feels sturdy, solid, and well made, and once everything was tightened during assembly, it felt very stable. It doesn’t have that flimsy or wobbly feel that some decorative shelving can have. The shelves also feel substantial enough for displaying plants, books, photos, candles, collectibles, or other décor. Assembly was much easier than I expected. I would rate the difficulty about 2 out of 5, with 5 being very difficult. The process was pretty straightforward, and I didn’t find it frustrating or overly complicated. Taking a little time to line everything up properly before fully tightening the pieces helped everything come together nicely. I also love that the design gives you several display levels while still keeping a relatively small footprint. The spiral shape makes it look almost like a piece of décor on its own, even before anything is placed on the shelves. Overall, I’m extremely happy with this purchase. It’s functional, sturdy, well constructed, easy enough to assemble, and visually much more interesting than a standard shelving unit. It has quickly become one of my favorite pieces in the room, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a display shelf that’s both practical and a little unexpected. Five stars from me—and yes, I’d buy it again. Maya. MA. Wed Sep 02 2026

You can use it for actual storage in any place in your room, improving your organization and showcasing your favorite books/trinkets and other decorative accents for your space, a convenient solution to the problem of stacking.

I like the design. For anyone that has books or dvd's it maybe hard for them to prop up alone without support. Only issues is the packers at the warehouse or manufacture packed it with scuffs in the black paint on multiple parts. I tried to hide them toward the back side. I would send it back for a replacement but Wayfair charges for shipping it back to the price of the item. The carriers beat up the package during transit for sure. This will most likely be my last order from Wayfair due to shopping online isn't as expected when you get it in person.. Anonymous. Sun Jul 12 2026

Took me about 3 - 4 hours to build (I did mix up a few pieces so this includes some re work). The instructions were pretty good but really make sure you are looking at some the directions of the pieces as it matters a lot latter on. It’s pretty and I’m happy with it.
