This rug has kept up extremely well in my house. I purchased this rug a couple of hears ago to effectively cover 95% of my floor. We've since moved and the rug looks even better in our new place. There are a couple of places where the end of braid has popped through, but for me, I didn't really find it to be unappealing. It looks like natural wear and feel of the carpet.. Jessica. This flatweave area rug sets a laid-back, relaxed foundation for your living space. It’s handmade from jute/sisal and cotton and features a natural-colored textured center banded by a black border. The medium pile height of 0.25” makes it a fairly flat surface, so it’s well-suited for areas with a lot of traffic flow – think your den or family room. LOVE this rug! I ordered it in “BROWN” (aka “NaturalGray”) and it’s perfect! My floors are brown with grey tones. The quality is impressive! The thickness, the durability, the size, the detail in the weave… I ordered a thin 13” rug pad to go underneath, but only to protect my floors. The rug is thick enough and soft enough to not need a pad under it. I haven’t walked on it barefoot, but with socks, it feels nice (not scratchy and pokey). I have no constructive criticism. Buy the rug. Just do it. You’ll be happy.. Jess. Fri Sep 18 2026
