Arrived on time and easy to assemble. Although the microfiber fabric makes me itch, I still need to cover it anyway because we have a cat. Enough to support my height and weight(I'm 5'2"). I mentioned weight because the only things that hold the back support are these two metal pieces that seems to short and not even locked with bolts. Hopefully it will hold long.. California. Not a smooth leather like the photo used for the item. When reading the fine print of the product description it does indicate a rippled leather. Photo is deceiving and the look of the textured leather is cheap. Disappointed to say the least.. Cathy. Au Gres, MI. Mon Sep 14 2026

It was pricey compared to other brands but I believe this style is the best. I've owned this Astor chair in the past and know that it's good for lumbar support and very comfortable. The top pillows have a zipper that you can add fill to the pillows (in photo) keeping the lumbar support strong after using chair for a few years. The back is tall and I'm 5'7". It is a wall hugger with a manual side arm. I found it hard to find one that's not a rocker. This fit the bill as a manual recliner. Shipping was fast too, within a month compared to the Layzboy store that had none in stock, but was running a sale, less than I paid for this one but it would take 4-6 months delivery.. Anonymous. This recliner is very comfortable. The fabric is soft, and it’s a nice wide and soft seat. I’ve never owned a recliner, so I can’t really know if it’s a good deal for the money. I hope that it’s sturdy, but it does feel like if people were roughhousing in it, it could tip over. I guess that it’s not the heaviest and sturdiest recliner out there. But it is so comfy. And the reclining mechanism works well.. Rt. CA. Tue Aug 11 2026
