Excellent value for the price. I ordered three of these fans and put two in downstairs living areas and one in an upstairs bedroom that tends to be warm. They made an immediate difference in reducing the room temperature by three degrees. I mounted the remote controls on the walls next to the switches for each. Remotes are cool because they have speeds 1-6 and the ability to reverse the direction. There’s also a setting that will have the fan come on from time to time to circulate the air and a timer button to have it run for 2, 4 or 6 hours. So far I love these fans. Ordered them together (2) so they would match rooms that are next to each other. The light is bright enough for large rooms, but can be dimmed, It has 6 speeds which is more than my last fans (only had 3), sturdy, so much lighter than my old ones and easy to put together (per hubby). The real wood blades are nice and very light weight. The wind speed works well for our living room and kitchen. Remote is easy to use and I like that there is a timer on the fan also of 1, 4 and 8 hours. There are 3 light settings so you can choose soft, day, and very bright (the bluish type) to fit your room needs. We like the soft one for the living room and the medium one for the kitchen. A great modern update for my bedroom that I remodeled to replace the old early 2000s model I had. It’s much more quiet and glides through the air. I keep it set to 6 which is the highest speed. It’s was about 40 minutes to get it assembled and installed. The instruction video made things super easy, but the printed instructions were good too. My only issue is that it does not have memory. So if power gets switched off, it will not save your last setting (including blade direction) and you must use the remote to power it on.
