Bought this to replace French doors going into our master bathroom. I stained it a medium walnut and thought it turned out pretty good for a novice. It is a heavy door, so I needed help moving it around during the staining process and install. We had to install a header above the door frame to mount the sliding hardware because it would be too heavy to go just onto drywall. Make sure you account for that in your measurements for the door size and the feasibility of it in your space. It was a straight forward install with no issues. The door slides smoothly and actually blocks a decent amount of the sound and light from the bathroom. When the driver brought the box in it had a hole and the screws had fallen out . I retrieved them from the ground. However, we did not receive the 28 gold pieces that attach to the from of the door. I hope we have all of the screws. Please send the gold/brass pieces.. Develle. Wed Jun 03 2026

The package includes all the hardware kit you need to install a sliding barn door. The barn door hardware is used indoors. It is rustproof, waterproof, and fireproof. Pre-install Notice: 1. This door requires two people to assemble, and it is not a traditional one-piece barn door. 2. Pilot holes on the door are all pre-drilled and cut. The wooden panel can junction with each other for a tight fit. 3. It is an unfinished barn door, and you can easily paint it as you wish. Please leave the door dry for at least 24 hours. 4. The barn door will work correctly with our sliding barn door hardware kit and door handles. 5. The bottom of the door had a pre-cut groove to fit with the floor guide that prevents the door from swinging back and forth.
