The box arrived really beat up, and I had misgivings as I was unwrapping, but the contents were protected. I have now had this sofa for over a year; I slept on it for three months while fostered cats and kittens took over my bedroom. It would work to use it as a daily bed, but it is VERY firm. The blue velvet fabric has held up nicely despite 2 cats (who fortunately, do not scratch it). I have received many compliments on it; it is the focal point of the sitting area. This is a classic cottage style round arm sofa with a very soothing color palette of blue, green, and ivory. The body fabric is woven with a linen like texture in a medium blue with a slight touch of green mixed in. The square accent pillows are a beautiful floral and leaf outline pattern in green and ink blue on an ivory background. The kidney pillow is a broken stripe in the same colors. The seat cushions are loose non-reversible, and the back cushions are attached. The fabrics on this sofa are performance that is both durable and easy to clean. I love the mid century vibes. I got this and the loveseat. The cushions are firm. I hope they stay that way. There is no neck support and the couch could slide a bit if it's on hardwood, so keep that in mind. I placed the couch against the wall to remedy the no neck and prevent sliding.
