The French Laguiole flatware set is a lovely touch of classic and timeless tableware. It is heavy and substantial in feel but balanced. I choose the earthy green and its a very pretty shade. The only downside for me is the thickness of the actual spoon and fork, its thicker than what I would personally prefer. I love the color--a teal-ish blue--a little darker--that looks terrific with my china. Ordinarily, I wouldn't be attracted to this pattern because, when closely examined, it has a quirky little metal element on the side that signals "industrial."
