I am happy with this Solid Wood Ladder Shelf. I ordered it in the light wood finish, and it looks even better in person. The color is bright and neutral, making it easy to match with the rest of my furniture. It adds a nice decorative touch to the room without taking up a lot of space. Assembly was easy, it only took me 20 minutes to put together and the instructions were straightforward, and all the parts were clearly labeled. I was able to put the entire shelf together by myself without any help. The pieces weren't too heavy, so moving them around during assembly wasn't difficult. Once everything was put together, I was impressed with how sturdy it felt, I wasn’t sure if it would be or not and it was very sturdy. One feature I especially love is that each shelf has a raised lip around three sides. It's a small detail that makes a big difference because it helps keep everything from sliding off the shelves. I don't have to worry about picture frames or small decorations getting bumped off the edge, and it gives the shelf a more refined look. The five shelves provide plenty of storage and display space while still maintaining a modern design. It's perfect for a living room, bedroom, or home office, especially if you're looking to maximize space. I like the Athulya computer desk very much. It’s a perfect size for the limited space I have in my sewing room. It’s in a temporary space at the moment because other furniture is coming for that room. That’s one good thing about the size and weight of the unit is it can be easily moved. The finish is nice. It’s a satin finish with a grain like texture. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because of the poor installation instructions. I’m very happy with this desk! I’m a fairly tall lady (5’10”) and it gets more than tall enough for me to use while standing. Setup took around 3 hours with 2 people (granted we’re not very building savvy) and instructions were fairly cleareasy to follow. When it came to the “use a box for support” part of the manual, we just used throw pillows and it worked fine. Everything was packaged very thoughtfully and the quality of the desk feels very sturdy.
