I thought they would be too childish for my 18 year old’s room but they turned out perfect. After all…she’s just a girl lol. But the only reason I gave it 4 stars was because it doesn’t totally “black out” the light during the day. As you can see I used only one panel per window but they were longer than the window so I don’t think that would have made a difference. The material is light weight but quality. Nunley Polyester Room Darkening Curtain Pair (Set of 2)-Aqua. They have tie backs included. This was an open box item which cannot be returned as per Wayfair policy. The curtain box was mangled, and torn open on one side. The curtains themselves were packaged in plastic and in perfect condition. I washed them -because it is my habit to wash everything before I use it. I washed this curtain using tap cold water with no spin. It is my method to match the hand wash according to the directions on the label of these curtains. I hung them up to let them air dry, also according to the label directions on the curtains. The curtains look just like the picture. The color is always a question due to the lighting of when the photo was taken along with how your monitor displays colors. Another risk especially when you know it can not be returned. I have found from my previous purchases that the colors represented due match when the items arrive. Another reason I was willing to take the risk. As you see from the photos, they do not appear to be completely Aqua, this is a result of how the light was filtering through, the wood trim around the windows, the angle I was standing at and how my Iphone captured the curtains. The photo was taken in the afternoon in a North East facing window. The white sheers are sewn together with Aqua curtains and are intended to be the side facing inward. The sheers hang down lower than the curtains. For our home which is a rustic home, these details are not problematic. If your home has a more finished touch, you may not be happy with these curtains.
