Desks themselves are sturdy and stylish. The push doors are a nuisance, however. They are finicky and require perfection to open and close properly. I’m giving this desk 4 stars because, while it is very spacious and offers plenty of room to work, I ran into several issues. I consider myself quite handy and enjoy putting furniture together, but the instructions were not the best. Additionally, one of the wooden planks arrived damaged. To make it fit my son’s bedroom layout, I had to reverse the configuration even though the desk isn’t designed to be reversible. Because of this, I had to place the angled plank upside down and couldn’t screw it into the metal frame however, this allowed the damaged part to face downward so it isnt noticeables. I was able to properly screw in the rectangular plank. While the metal frame is very sturdy and the desk provides a great amount of workspace, another downside is that fingerprints show up very easily on the wood. We got this desk for our daughter and so far it has worked well with a lot of length for all her different items. I don't think this desk would work well for myself as an all day solution due to the metal supports touching my knees, I am 6'-1" tall. The corner of the desk gets to 30" in depth but the extended parts are below that. The desk's finishes are a good quality laminated top, metal struts and wood legs with adjustable castors. Construction was mostly easy, but the metal parts needs to be placed correctly and I had to use some decent force in order to get them into place. Nice desk. Went with grey color and like it. Very heavy box and material. Material feels like it is made from that plastic that picnic or school tables are made with. Wood grain look is nicerealistic. I don’t think it will scratch easily. Because there are two configuration options it is quite confusing, mainly the drawer part, but holes lined up just fine. Drawer bottoms are not same thick material, so likely cannot handle heavy stuff. Once it is put together it is not made to be able to switch the configuration around.. Anonymous. Sun Aug 30 2026
