Perfect size! We'd been searching for an L shaped desk with the option to sit/stand for a long while. This one had a couple extra options that we weren't expecting which tipped the scales it's way. The only issue we have with it is the two pieces of the desk are not attached to one another at all. So if your desk is on a smooth surface they'll slide apart easily. I am so impressed with this desk! I’m pretty savvy when it comes to assembling furniture, and these were honestly some of the best instructions I’ve ever used. Every part was clearly labeled, and they even included extra hardware in every bag. My biggest assembly tip is to follow the images carefully and make sure all of your hardware is aligned before fully tightening everything at each step. I also really love that it came with cable ties with adhesive to attach to the desk! For the price, I’m also really pleased with the quality. It is a particle-board/manufactured wood material, so obviously it’s not going to have the durability of solid wood, but it feels noticeably nicer and sturdier than a lot of other manufactured-wood furniture I’ve purchased. It looks great in person, and I definitely feel like it will hold up well with normal use. My family members that have seen my new desk have all commented on how nice it looks. The desk is fairly small in scale, which is exactly what I needed for my small office/guest room, and it looks fantastic in the space. Definitely pay close attention to all of the dimensions before ordering, especially the amount of open space for your chair and legs. The dial for raising and lowering the desk also sticks into that opening slightly and can interfere a bit with a chair armrest, depending on your chair. A couple of other things worth knowing: there are two “dead space” areas in the curved shelving where only about half of the apparent space is actually unusable and completely closed off. In addition, the tall open cabinet space in the back corner of the desk has the leg of the standing table inside of it, so it isn't actually as large of a space as I thought. Also, the desktop has a slightly textured, somewhat slick finish. My keyboard and trackpad slide around a little more than I’d like, and the texture is noticeable if you try to write directly on a piece of paper. I’ll probably add a small leather desk mat or rubber grips to my keyboard and trackpad, which should solve both issues. Overall, though, I’m extremely happy with the desk and think it’s a great value. The lowest price I saw was around $365. My only real annoyance had nothing to do with the desk itself — Wayfair dropped the price by $25 the day after I ordered and wouldn’t honor the lower price. If you have a smaller office and want a desk that gives you a lot of function without overwhelming the room, I definitely recommend this one. Just check those measurements carefully!. Monbon. Love my new desk for my new classroom! The instructions were very clear and the desk went together nicely. There’s a tiny hitch in the bottom file drawer, but otherwise everything works perfectly and the LED lights are amazing! Can’t wait to start the new school year off with my new teacher desk!
