The Providence Upholstered Swivel Counter Stools are absolutely beautiful and were exactly the look I was hoping for. Putting the legs together (first step) was slightly tricky, but every step after went smoothly. The holes for screws are perfectly machined, nicely thought out assembly design. The swivel seats rotate is smooth as can be. In choosing the height for a 36 inch high counter I felt there needed to be something in between the 25 inch and 30 inch stool. These bar stools are very mid century modern retro.  From the curved wood legs and arm chair lines to the blue chenille fabric shell back seat, all around gives that mid century vibe.  The directions on how to put them together were not in the box, but thankfully it was very easy to figure out.   I purchased these as an open box item and I could be happier about the deal I got and the quality of the stools.  They were brand new and looked like they had never been opened.  They are very stable and comfortable.  I was a bit concerned with how firm the seat was to begin with, but after a week of use the seat is starting to give enough to feel comfortable.  The seat backs were comfortable from the very beginning.  The swivel is very smooth and swivels a fil 360.  Overall I am thrilled with this purchase and very happy I got them at a third of the price.
