It’s a valve. It works. Please make sure your plumber uses COPPER throughout. My plumber used PEX and I believe the water pressure has been negatively affected. Well i guess I ordered a sample of this gorgeous flooring instead of the box but its super nice. It has cushion base and interlocking for stability its nice and wide not a thin strip. There is a wide color selection I chose vintage oak for my needs. The box price is reasonable and the sample really sold me on the quality level. The sample was great to help an informed choice of product is would highly recommend a sample before purchasing any flooring choice now. We did notice our existing deadbolt hole isn’t exactly precise to the new and thus we do have to be sure to pull the door tight or it will say “jammed” but is actually locked. It then changes to locked so not a big deal. Unlocks easily with code and key or phone app! I love that I can unlock for friends if they get there before we do. The instructions step by step guide was so easy and quick! I also loved that they included a master key changer so that I was able to key the new deadbolt to our current key… that made me so happy to know I don’t need to carry excess weight !
