Like most reviewers, this mat is not the thickest. We need to put it on our padded area rug to sleep on it overnight, but it's great for watching tv beside my little dog, who isn't allowed on our sofa. Not quite as comfortable as a regular mattress, but it's fine to sleep on. Much easier to move around and store than a regular mattress, though. I like the two sides suited for summer/winter. Overall what I was looking for. It was missing some of the screws but I expected that after reading the reviews. I also let it air out as it smelled very much like unfinished wood. Although I didn’t need to sand it, there were some splintery areas (easy fix though). I used my own screwdriver as the one they provided was child-sized (still worked just not for my hands). This floor mattress is pretty comfortable considering it is only 4 and on the floor. It did not come shrink wrapped, but it seemed way too flat at first I let it air out before making a review. At first, it was only 2 inches, but after a few days out of the plastic wrapping it came in, it is decidedly 4. I guess it was flattened during packaging. Fed Ex delivered to the wrong city/address, after much follow-up with Fed Ex and Wayfair, I received a shipment with the wrong size mattress. After additional follow-up with Wayfair, I finally received the correct item. The time I had to spend was way too much, and Wayfair did not provide sufficient support and customer service. The mattress came in a manageable sized box. We were able to unbox without anyone getting decapitated. We allowed the mattress to “inflate” for 48 hours, then placed it on our new Wayfair queen sized frame. Our niece slept on it and said it was the most comfortable mattress she’s ever slept on.
