Of course you can steam veggies longer than I like. It is so easy to use and clean. Not much cleaning is required. I strongly recommend this for a quick way to steam anything you liked steamed. I have used this twice a week for about 7 months now. The Rissoto function works very well for Risotto and any sauté then cook recipe. I already have an Instant Pot multi cooker and did not need a more sophisticated rice cooker. This one provides great value for performance. I was pleased with how much better the fuzzy logic rice cookers cook rice than my old one button rice cooker I used for many years. I think the pot in this multi cooker is of fine quality and shows no sign of wear to the non stick coating.. Rangergord. Bc Canada. Fri Mar 06 2026
