I was worried there were no reviews yet, but took a chance. I’ve been looking for a navy blue velvet arm chair that was a mid century modern style, had deep seat, but not too wide for our space (less than 36 inches). The chair is as pictured and also the specs are accurate. However, I should have realized the back is not as high as our old chair but I’ve improvised and added a pillow for me to rest my head. The legs also seem darker than in the pics. It is comfortable to sit in so far and I prefer a firm seat. The back pillow has a zipper so you can take it out to clean or you can change the insert padding and it is reversible. The seat cushion also has a zipper and is removable but you can’t use the other side because it has velcros. Love the deep navy blue color and the soft velvet. This mid century style chair is just okay. It does sit rather low and the seat cushion slides all over so we're constantly have to lift the back cushions to push it back in. The arms are quite low as well which makes sitting with your elbows on them awkward. The color we choose is orange and it matched our decor relatively well. Nice chair but the seat height is not 19" as the specs stated....it measures 17-1/2". That discrepancy is the reason this chair did not get 5 stars. Solid price compared to other resellers. Although slightly uneven at the legs, it is still solid and well made. I did notice that the upholstery on the back was able to come off due to loose screws, which means that you can eventually replace only the upholstery if need be, however, I did manage to stress the wood by screwing it too tightly, which I am not happy about.
