[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The simplify teardrop 8 pendant is a well crafted light fixture. Overall it was longer than I expected so if purchasing I would definitely make sure to use with a high ceiling. I would say that you would need at least 15 feet high ceilings at least. I adjusted the rods of the light so it wouldn’t be as long and cut the cords to adjust for the shorter stem. The light functions well and isn’t too hard to put up for those with experience. Not too many parts and installation shouldn’t take too long. I would recommend the light for mos people. Please be careful as the glass cover is heavy and not much support. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I installed this in our large pantry and the brushed brass finish and it completely changed the feel of the room. What used to be a purely functional space now actually looks designed. Insulation was almost comically easy. I had it mounted and wired in under five minutes and I am not an electrician. The hardware was all in the box and everything was straightforward. One nice surprise is that it ships with extra rods so that you can link in the drop for a higher ceiling. I did not need them for my install, but I appreciate that Kohler included that option instead of making you hunt down a separate extension kit. The brushed brass reads warm and classy rather than flashy and the simple bottle shape is the kind of thing that will still look good in 10 years. It plays well with just about any other finish in the room. I highly recommend, especially if you have a pantry laundry room or mudroom that has been ignored. Easiest upgrade I have done in a while..
